About Our Camp
Our Goal
Our goal is to provide a free, online summer camp for any creative kids to explore art in an entertaining way. This is a seminar for any full-time working parents, parents who can't afford summer camp, or anyone who would want to join this summer camp. This is the perfect way for a child to learn about the arts and enrich their knowledge. Classes are held through ZOOM.
Purpose
Be Your Own Artist is a 501©3 non-profit organization committed to work with children, to enhance their knowledge in the arts. We teach fine arts to children, and we give them an opportunity to experience the joy of being an artist.
Collaboration
Most of our courses include collaborative projects that entail different classes coming together to create an artistic masterpiece. For example, singing and songwriting will collab to perform their song or duet, acting and screenwriting will collab for a monologue performance, musical theatre and dance will collab for a Best of Broadway Zoomsical, etc. These collaborations will take place on the second week of each course, for 30 minutes.
